"This funnel has a SUPER FINE strainer...it removes ALL sediment from the wine. It does take some TIME to filter the wine this much, and you may have to rinse the strainer a couple of times if there is a lot of sediment....but it does a wonderful job and leave the wine very clear and clean."

"I put a couple of my Merlot through the funnel, but did not get any particles. I clear my wine numerous times from Crucible to Carboy and only bottle from just above the bottom 5” of the final Carboy. I know I loose some wine but it comes into the bottles clear. I do not filter as I believe this changes the taste."
