"Unfortunately I bought this as a gift for my husband at a boutique store. It also broke within only a couple of uses. Since I hadn’t bought online I am just now seeing all of the bad reviews - the reviews are just as bad on Amazon. Looks like the company should do a total redesign And then give a replacement to all of these unhappy customers."
Broke after opening 7th bottle
"Very aesthetically pleasing, but the apparatus that causes the corkscrew to drill into the bottle broke after opening the 7th bottle. We have another tabletop opener that has lasted us several hundred bottles without issue. I have tried googling a fix or replacement part but have had no luck. Buyer beware that if you want something functional this may not be your best choice."

"This is so frustrating! It's expensive, it looks great but it does not work unless I'm completely doing something wrong. I get about 1 bottle to open out of 10. For me, the corkscrew just goes in and out without pulling the cork out with it. HELP!!!!!"
